The young looking male awoke that morning, deciding that he was finally going to adopt a dog. He wasn't sure what he wanted, but he knew he wanted a female... because maybe he could have puppies later. He wasn't really sure why he wanted a dog besides he needed company in his lonely house. He missed Spencer... a lot... and wanted him to come and find him, but he doubted that would happen. Spencer didn't know where Aerik was and Aerik didn't know where Spencer was. Silently, he crawled out of bed and headed for the shower.
About half a hour later, Aerik made it out of the shower and was dressed. He was now working on his hair, which he straightened. He already had the small amount of eyeliner he wore on just to make his bi-colored eyes stick out more than they already did, even though he was terribly shy and wasn't good at making friends and talking to people. The only reason he loved Spencer so much and became friends with him was because they were both as shy, but Spencer got more hyper around him when they were together. Spencer always found a way to make him smile.
Even though the twenty year old male was a virgin, he did not plan on loosing that anytime soon... unless it was with Spencer. Many didn't know he was Gay anyway, so he could simply tell any girls that he was gay and they would hopefully back away. That didn't work all the time though... so he didn't know what he would do then.
After he had finished getting ready, the male slid on his shoes and walked outside with a hoodie on. With the hood over his head, he locked the door and started walking to the pet store, a wad of money, his phone, and his keys in his pocket.
It wasn't a long walk to the Pet Store, and when he walked in, he wasn't quite sure it was open, as there wasn't anyone in the main room. Quietly, he looked around before walking into the back where the kennels where. Looking around, he noticed a puppy he nearly fell in love with just because of its face. It was a Belgian Tervuren Shepherd. He smiled, for the first time in a long time, a real smile and watched the young dog before him.

The young woman sighed as she looked around. This place was D E A D, dead, and had been dead for quite some time now. She wasn't sure why, especially since they had just gotten a new shipment of dogs in recently, only having really sold one so far. Her hair was, like usual, pulled up and back into a pony tail; the blond on top being brighter than usual as it had just been recoloured, same as for the dark brown that was coloured the bottom side of her hair, just like many girls had done it. She ran a hand over her hair, pausing as she came to the light blue headband that went all the way around her head and held back all the loose hair, a few bobby-pins holding it in the place on her head and a few more in random places to hold any shorter hairs back while she left her bangs out so that they could curve to the side of her face and sort of go behind her ear, the way that she always did it for practice.
She pulled her pants up, just remembering that she had forgotten to put on a belt before work that morning before a bell at the door caught her attention. Turning her head to look, her bright green eyes looked out toward the boy that entered, either in the end of his teenage years, or his early twenties. She watched him patiently, hoping that he would go for the kennels and look at the many puppies, since she really wished that they could find homes, and soon too. Just as she hoped, he wandered casually toward the cages, and she decided to wait for a moment, leaning forward on the check out counter before walking around it and heading toward the isle with the cages. She casually moved toward him, pulling her work shirt that read 'Tom's Pet Store' on it to the top of her jeans, as it kept riding up as her pants fell down, her clothes seeming to all be of the wrong size.
Her old black converse shoes made a 'squeak' noise with each gaining step that they took until she came up toward the boy, deciding that he looked kind of like some of her own friends back at school. Coming slowly toward the boy, she looked toward the wire cage that he watched, noticing the Belgian Shepherd within. "Hmm... she's pretty, isn't she?" The girl smiled warmly, her name tag reading her name in big, black leaders, 'Savanna', and the girl - obviously only being about fifteen years old - waited for him to say something, reading the prices back to herself in her mind, as she now had just about everything completely memorized to make her job quicker and more efficient for any customers that came inside.
She ran her hands down her pants before she reached for the cage and quickly unlatched the door, sticking her hands in softly to rub the puppy's head. She then grabbed her softly and in the most caring manner to pull her out. "Would you like to actually get a good look at her, perhaps?" She asked, not normally doing that, but deciding that it was just to hard for a future pet owner to get a good look at their puppy from behind the kennel gate. So why not pull her out? She sighed softly, holding the same warm smile as she waited for a reaction from the boy, assuming that like most, he would automatically reach to grab the pup, just as anyone would.
OoC|| Haha, she is completely me. Same hair, eyes, name, age, etc. Rofl. :] And like usual, I did my best to not go over board and make a 1000 word post. lawl.

hehe x3 Aerik looked at the other puppies around, wondering if he was interested in any of them. Deciding that she was the one he wanted, he went deep into thought about names for the female Belgian Shepherd he was going to adopt. Maddox, Ace, Kieran, MacKenzie, Hayden, Killian, Avery, DingBang... he stopped to laugh to himself about the last name, DingBang. It was a chinese name, but he wasn't going to call the poor dog that. Killian sounded.. evil in a way. Maddox sounded like something you would name a Pit Bull or something, which was another dog he wanted. Ace was more for a Siberian Husky or Malamute. Kieran sounded better for something other than an animal. MacKenzie sounded too.... bland he guessed. Hayden was a common human name. Avery was a common human name and better for something smaller like a terrier or something. He began to think again. Ryker, Skiilar, Sage, Fallon, Skye, Schyler, Rayne, Daegan... Ryker was better for a border collie. Skiilar was better for like.. a dog that can jump really really high in the air like that Borzoi and whippet cross on Pet Star than jumped about fifty-six inches in the air at least. Sage was too common for anything. Fallon sounded boyish. Skye.. again, the jumping dog. Schyler was too boyish. Rayne was better for lets say a wolf mixbreed. And Daegan, back with the evil names.
He jumped and started to shake when a girl walked up to him, saying something about the dog. He always shook when he was nervous or scared. Right now, he had just been spooked... like unexpectedly. He should hae figured it was going to happen though... because he was in a pet store. He nodded at what she said, making sure his hair hid his bi-colored eyes. The puppy before him was cute and this was probably the first and last female he would ever fall in love with. He wasn't one to date girls... or be friends with them... but he could talk to one and be nice unless they were rude about him.. such as him being gay or something.
Backing up a little as the female reached and opened the cage, he watched what she did through his bangs carefully. He wanted to be a groomer, as much as he loved dogs, but this was probably his first dog he has ever owned. After he was adopted, they had no dogs and at the foster homes, there were no dogs. There were neighbor dogs, but not dogs that he got to play with and be around all the time. So no, he didn't really know how to take care of a dog, but he has done some research and stuff on how to take care of dogs, so its not like he would just neglect her. He didn't understand how people could do that anyway. It was too cruel and stuff. Just looking at a dogs sad face would make him want to cry, most likely.
Finally, as he pulled the dog out of the cage, he came up with a name. Sasquatch he thought. And i'll call her Sassy for short. It fits her perfectly, since she'll have long hair. he smiled and giggled with his new name for the dog and slowly reached out to pet her. He was unsure about holding her, as he wasn't sure if you could do that, so he just reached out and started to pet her and rub her ears a little.

The clerk, Savanna as it was now clear her name was, smiled sweetly as she realized that she had just spoked the poor guy. "Sorry." The girl said with a giggle as she continued to hold the dog. The boy was pretty silent though, and didn't seem like he would actually be talking to her any time soon. "Would you like her, then?" She asked, tilting her head to the side curiously as all that he did was rub the dog's head, still in thought by the looks of it. She was quite interested by this fellow, but it wasn't because of the way that he dressed or anything. No, she had plenty of friends that looked like he did and she liked them just as much as any of her other friends.
What interested her was how he just stood there and didn't bother to really say anything to her. Maybe he just... wasn't a people person. Was one of those guys that didn't get along well with others or something. Still, it wasn't any of her business and she quickly chased off the thoughts, allowing the heat of the puppy to pass into her hands as the female just rested in her arms, not really moving or anything of that sort. Suddenly, the canine sneezed, and the worker was caused to laugh, lifting the puppy to her chest before extending her toward the boy so as he could easily grab her, and so that she was making it obvious he was allowed to do more than just watch and pet the puppy, he could grab her.
"You want to play with her or walk around with her first, make sure that she is the right one for you...?" The teenager found herself asking, rather than just thinking it to herself. She supposed that was okay though, as Tom has always told her it was best to make sure that future owners had a good bond with their puppies before they bought them. She nodded to reassure herself, then stopped as she realized what she was doing and did her bust to fully direct her attention back on the boy and wait for him to say or do something. The puppy now squirmed playfully, licking her fingers and making the girl giggle once more as she watched the man and wondered once more why he was just so darn silent... it was starting to become a little annoying...

I... its okay. Its normal. he said, licking his lips slightly, and watching the puppy before him. He rubbed the dogs ears more, smiling as she leaned into his hand while he did this. He looked up at the female worker, bi-colored eyes being revealed. When he realized this, he quickly shook his head enough for his bangs to fall over them. He didn't know how he came into this would with brown and blue eyes, but he loved them. He just didn't want people to be complementing them all the time, so he hid them. He wasn't ashamed of them in anyway, he just hated people pointing them out like he didn't know he had them or anything. And no, hes not blind in his blue eye... people think that too.
Y-yeah.. I want her. he said, glad that she didn't seem disgusted with his appearance or anything. He doubted that they would ever talk or anything in the future, as Aerik liked to keep to himself, occasionally going outside for fresh air. He figured that when the puppy got older he would start running with it. He wasn't one to run, but it never hurt right? He'd take her out for runs every other day or so, when he felt up to it, in the morning or at sunset. He didn't like being out in the heat of the day unless he had to. Today was an exception.
When the female held the puppy out towards him, he cautiously took the puppy from her, cradling her with his left arm. As the puppy laid on her back on Aeriks arm with front paws trying to paw at his face, he looked down at her smiling. I'd like to play with her... he said, looking over at the worker before looking back down at the puppy, scratching her chest and stomach area gently. He softly blew at the puppys paw and smiled at the reaction. Apparently, the small puff of air made it to her maw and she sneezed once more, yipping softly after that. He bent his head down and kissed the puppys paw that he blew on.

The girl nodded to the boy before her as he spoke, but she didn't really say anything in reply. Now she was being the quiet one. As he grabbed the pup from her, in a careful manner and then played around with her a little, the worker couldn't help but to smile before she turned and walked off a few feet, giving them both some space, as she felt as if she was being a little smoothering, just standing there and hoping that he would talk. "Well, when you're ready to pay, she'll be six-hundred dollars, total," She paused to make sure the price was right and sighed with relief. Okay, she remembered correctly. "When you want to pay, just come over to the counter right over there -" She stopped herself once more to point toward the register and the counter that she spent most of her days leaning on, "And I'll ring you up." Finally, the blond was done speaking and turned softly on her heels to sort of lope back toward the counter. She was pretty happy, having had a costumer today, and that wouldn't be easy to break, but it was possible.
Most of the workers didn't leave the costumers with the puppies like that, but she doubted that he would try to steal anything, as if he did he would obviously go to jail and what not. Not to mention, everyone in the store would be on him within seconds, so there was no point in even trying such a thing. She shook her head as if to reassure herself, then leaned back on the counter, her elbows both being her main support as she placed her chin gently on her hands and allowed her green eyes to watch the register. With a sigh, she seemed to finally be completely quiet, now just waiting for the boy to give her the money and head out, since the puppy no doubt didn't want to hang around here much longer.
