Draven entered Tom's Pet Store hoping for the best. He could hear a few barks every once in a while when he entered through the double-glass doors, and hoped one was a Border Collie (BC) or Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever (NSDTR) that he would fall in love with. He walked around to where the cages were, and his face lit up when he saw a Border Collie. He looked up and saw a clerk a little ways away, and called out. He waited patiently for the clerk as he looked at the cute BC pup.

The clerk scurried out of the back room. Her slippers scraping as she went "Excuse me! I was busy out back". She gave the usual smile she gives consumers . Her long hair jumped as she came into a halt. "Right this way please" she said walking ahead of the young boy. Ahead was a few rows o cages although most of them were empty. About three puppies were in a tank. She hovered over the tank and gazed down at the pups. They were use to her but she always came a bit too close and they moved away. She stood next to the tank and gave a rather creepy smile "Let me know which one you like and I can take him out for you to meet him!" She said holding her gaze to him, like a brainwashed person.
The puppies round large eyes gazed up at the new boy. One of them, the border collie, was a little braver and walked up to the front of the tank. It gave a small bark and then started to jump on the glass, this gave the other puppy courage. It ran up beside the border collie and started to bark along with him although the other dogs bark was extremely different then the border collie's.

"Could I see the Border Collie, please?" He already knew which one he wanted, by the looks of it. All the pups were cute, but the bold Border Collie male seemed to stick out more. When the pup was out, it licked Draven and he pet it softly on the head. He held it firmly in his arms, but not too tight, and said, "I'll take him" and smiled real big.

The clerk smiled and giggled "That's great!I'm going to miss that one. He was a very good dog" she said and sighed a bit. "Follow please" she said and guided them to the cashier. "That'll be...$800" she said and looked up at his face to see if he will reject the dog now. You might want to pick up some supplies for the puppy. She pointed at the aisle "I'll give you a discount with the puppy" she smiled.
The puppy looked extremly happy. As if he knew that he was going to be brought. It was always good to see a dog go before he become old and had to live in the petshop.

Draven followed the clerk to the checkout counter. "800 dollars? Okay." He said, and pulled a wad of cash out of his pocket. "Thanks, that'd be great! I'll go pick some out now." He counted out 800 dollars and handed it to the clerk with a smile. The puppy looked like he was smiling, almost. He looked really happy: he was wagging his tail, and his eyes were bright.

The clerks took the stack of money and counted it herself. "Excellent!" She said rather loudly. She looked at the puppy once more then pointed at the aisles . There was food, leashes, and much more. She knew that the puppy would cost alot but she hoped that he would have enough for it's needs.

Draven walked over to the aisles, and started looking for things for his new puppy. He went down the collar and leash aisle first.
-This is now over, I guess-
