History: Maira grew up in a bad neighborhood. However, as soon as the school system realized how intelligent she was, there was a scholarship offer from second grade up to college. It was accepted, and Maira was sent away to a boarding school. She went home every break, until one year. Halfway through the school year, the news came that an arsonist had burned down the family's home. No one had come out alive.
After that, Maira studied harder than ever and stayed at school almost year-round. Over the summers, she was sent to her aunt in Washington, D.C. Maira didn't mind.
